The benefits of adiabatic cooling
The FoxAir air cooler works on the principle of adiabatic transformation of warm air into cool air. This method has several advantages, the first of which is that it’s economical. In fact, no energy is removed from or added to the incoming air, which passes through a wet heat exchanger designed to provoke evaporation, draining the air of its caloric energy. It’s a natural phenomenon that can be observed in nature. As a result, the cooler requires only a small amount of energy and a water supply to operate.
The second advantage is that, thanks to this process, the warmer and drier the incoming air, the more effective the cooling. This cooling technique has been used for several decades in arid regions, as it is simple, natural and energy-efficient, while remaining effective for instant cooling and hydration of ambient air.
