Air cooler use: the adiabatic operating principle

Theuse of an air cooler has been popular for many years in hot countries. Economical, this solution is also environmentally friendly, based mainly on the use of a wet pad and a fan.

How do FoxAir adiabatic air coolers work?

The operation of an air cooler is based on a simple, natural principle: evaporation as it occurs in nature. The drier and warmer the air, the more efficient the unit. This constant enthalpy phenomenon, also known as adiabatic, helps to save energy and is therefore a worthwhile long-term investment.

Making the most of adiabatic air conditioning performance

Theuse of a bio-air conditioner is possible with two main elements: water and electricity. A submersible pump collects water from the large-capacity tank and transfers it to the heat exchanger, where it circulates. Air and water mix. Made from an impermeable cardboard derivative, this heat exchanger cools the air before it is redistributed by the fan throughout the building.

The air-conditioning is on and continues until the tank is completely emptied, i.e. for several hours.

    Choosing an adiabatic unit

Theuse of an air cooler is closely linked to the surface area and volume of air to be cooled. For optimum performance, FoxAir performs a complete analysis before proposing one or more models with the appropriate power ratings. It is advisable to install an anti-scale device on the appliance if the water is very hard.

After unpacking your air cooler and removing the clamps, vacuum the bottom of the tank to remove any residue. Connect the system to the water supply, then the plug to the mains. Installation is very simple.

Note that it is necessary to disinfect with a product after a certain period of use to guarantee air quality.
