Adiabatic air coolers: efficient and environmentally friendly
FoxAir industrial air coolers operate adiabatically, i.e. by evaporation.
In concrete terms, every model in our range has a large-capacity water tank that you simply fill before connecting to the mains. Once running, the unit’s fan draws in dry, warm air and passes it through a pad moistened with water from the reservoir to evaporate. This 100% natural process has the effect of cooling the air, which is then redistributed in the rooms, where the ambient temperature drops rapidly.
The higher the temperature and the lower the humidity, the greater the drop in temperature will be, since the devices will increase the humidity level to provide better thermal comfort for employees and users alike. The lack of insulation (common in industrial sheds) is not a problem, and even has a positive impact on the efficiency of our coolers, since it also ensures air renewal.
It’s a reliable, efficient and environmentally-friendly air conditioning system. No polluting refrigerants are used, and the motors in our EC models are designed to use minimum power for optimum performance.
